Cyber Arthropods Slither Out of Puppets War
March 23, 2012 by dracs
Puppets War have released their latest robotic creations, the Cyber Arthropods.
We've been treated to previews of these guys for some time now and it is nice to finally see the finished product.
These guys look great and could easily find a use within all manner of sci-fi games.
Any of you got a taste for these snake-like cyber creations? Can you think of any really original uses for them?
Ah, not bad – I still kinda prefer the old metal Wraiths though (the ones with tiny robo-tentacles and skull faces), but these are nice and do look somewhat like the artwork. GW really need to hurry up with that 2nd wave…
I like that they come in so many separate parts, makes changing weapons easier. Can I think of ‘really original’ uses…tricky given what they’re meant to be right down to the circuit-like engraving on the carapaces, but if you replace the metal tentacles with ‘Nid parts you could make a sweet Talos/Cronos for Dark Eldar.
Those are kinda nice.
So they are doing it again? 🙁
Wow, between these and their Cyber Beetles, Puppet War have got two of the better ‘Cron models out before GW has a chance to gouge everyone for their 2nd wave versions.
Unless the GW Wraiths are absolutely amazing, I must say, I’ll probably be picking up these instead. (and even if the GW ones are amazing, they better be reasonably priced, of Puppet War will be seeing my money anyway)
These are really nice.
