A New Warcaster Saddles Up for Menoth!
December 6, 2012 by dracs
Privateer Press have put up a preview of an epic new warcaster which will be joining the holy armies of the Protectorate of Menoth atop his mighty steed.
This is Intercessor Kreoss, a true champion of the faith who leads the armies of Menoth with the authority of the Hierarch himself.
The sculpt itself is pretty good, presenting you with a dramatic and detailed miniature. However, he does seem rather top heavy. I can't help but think he's going to slide sideways off his saddle at any moment. Maybe it's the massive shoulder pads, which are actually more subdued than many of the Warmachine range.
Will Kreoss lead your faithful upon his mighty stallion Dobbin?
Seems a bit regal to be on a battlefield to me.
Perhaps, but the Protectorate is the sort of nation that has its pope and head of state take to the front-lines (Hierarch Severius, head of the Menite church and of the Protectorate of Menoth).
I do agree that he seems a little un-balanced – probably from trying to sculpt him as though he was just starting to wheel his horse around for a charge.
