Prepare to Weather a Forge World Siege
March 31, 2013 by dracs
Forge World have released two units of Space Marines, specially trained and equipped to deal with some of the harshest situations one might face on the battle fields of the 41st Millenium.
The first squad is the Legion MKIV's Breacher Squad.
These guys are equipped to weather any storm of fire power which might greet them upon breaching the defences of a heavily defended fort or space craft.
Then we have the Legion's Recon Squad.
The Recon Squads act as scouts, heading out ahead of the main army to mark out the enemy formations and sabotage supply lines.
The Breacher Squad is particularly cool, giving you a nice and unique looking Elite unit, which looks like it could take a serious battering without having to fork out for Terminator armour.
The Recon Squad seems rather par for the course, but should still provide you with some nice alternative miniatures for your army.
What do you guys think? Are these units worth fielding?

Reccon looks nothing special. The sniper’s thigh doesn’t look genetically enhanced unless it is for the catwalk?
Would like the Breach Squad be better if they were true scale instead of normal squashed marines
But that ain’t ever gonna happen.
I’m rather bored seeing space marines after space marines, whatever they be armed with 🙁
Come on FW, stop wasting your talents on such easy stuff as this.
I thought scouts only had sniper rifles? Is that a scout or space marine? Anyway, show us models and companys we can afford to buy. Thanks!
Maybe if they did some non-heroic scale 28mm marines I would be interested, but as things stand it doesn’t matter what bits and bobs they stick on a marine if it is still a monkey armed knuckle dragger I still won’t care.
