The guys from Corvus Belli, creators of Infinity, sit down with Warren to give us the run down on the most influential faction in the game of Infinity… PanOceania.
on a related note, I’ve found it slightly funny that Warren (I hope I didn’t mix up the names!) had no problem spelling the dreaded Acontenciamento, but insisted on “oceana” rather than “oceania”. But that’s just me having problems with that damn word…Apart from that, good video, informative for new players I should think.
Thanks, much appreciated. 😀
But don’t get me wrong. As a loyal player of the glorious Empire State of YuJing, the only true hyperpotence, I hate PanO with all my heart LOL
Boo hiss… I have no love for Pan-O, Christian do gooders in space. Come by yah my lord, come by yah… they all deserve a combi rifle butt in the face. lol. Can you tell I’m a Yu Jing player? I love the knighly order mini’s though.
I would say they are a blunt list more than anything else, the only list I personally do not like (and I mean from all the lists of all factions including sectorials), but they are a good straightforward shooty list, many people love, besides if hitech gadgets is your thing they deliver more than anyone else. for a starter list I would suggest get a fusiliers blister an HMG fusilier and the blister with the grenade launcher fusilier (to be used as a normal fusilier), plus the multi rifle Aquila guard and the HMG Swiss guard that would provide more… Read more »
No, for a few reasons, they do not link, they have low BS (in comparison with PanO) and are accompanied with a bot that has a heavy flamethrower, they have a different role and this is mainly deployment security or flaming camouflage counters that get too close, sure they can be good order givers and keep your deployment safe quite well, but a fusilier team is better in the offence.
What I love in PanOceania is the integration of the background in their troops, sure they have the best technology around, but they are poor at doing the heavy skilled work, technology makes them loose their edge on that part. And that is a good balancing factor, they are the best shooters in a game where shooting is the main trade and do have the best equipment around, but are limited in the other fields from contesting the board with forward deployment units, and creating smoke covers obstacles for advancement or even having cheap disposable troops, even their template weapons… Read more »
Can you use the sectorial armies in the main rulebook? PanO look cool, but I like Yu Jing better.
The rules and army lists for the Sectorial armies are in the Human Sphere expansion book, or via the free PDFs.
Thanks mate.
I really like the design for the knights…
Damn You BoW! With every video I go “Hell Yeah! That’s the army I want.”
This is going to ruin me, but I love it!
You and me both. I can’t deside who to play.
Hey guys, the name is wrong. That’s the correct one: PANOCEANIA
There’s an “i” between the “n” and the “a”
Taa-daa! All fixed. 😀

I’ll fix this for you: Acontecimiento 😀
Thanks, much appreciated. 😀

Death to the PanO Overlord Scum!
Signed, the Nomad Nation.
Great video, thanks for the rundown! PanO and the Shock Army all the way, baby!
Oh, and you kept mentioning the Aquila Guard, but no one mentioned the Swiss Guard! They are fantastic models… and cost more points… are they good?
they are HI (tough) and have TO camo (hard to hit), and are well trained (good stats). Yes they’re good. Expensive, but good.
Better than Aquila or just different?
If Aquilla is the wall, Swiss Guard is the hammer to brake walls, great troops and a personal favourite of mine.
Sounds like Neoterran is a pretty fierce list then. They don’t have a starter for it, but can anyone suggest a “starter” list for it?
Maybe 2 Auxilia, 1 Swiss Guard, 1 Hexas, 1 Aquila? Comes to 185pts… seems like a lot for a starter box. 🙂

What about the Auxilia? I see they are AVA: Total. Do they not fulfill the fusilier role?

Got it, thanks for the info!

Yeah, the fluff in this game very subtly makes it into the rules. It is nice integration.
i am doing a undead tau army
