So far so simple so awesome good stuff as always Romain.
Simple but very effective so far. If (and possibly when) I play DZC I may well steal this scheme.
Awesome!! Romain
Great tutorial and funny and engaging dialogue as always.
Looking forward the next part! This has given me some useful ideas for not only the colour scheme but also techniques for painting these minis so thanks!
Great video 🙂
Awesome work. Love the colour scheme.
Can’t wait to see the final result!
I’ve got some Mantic Undead Skeletons to paint up and this has been very helpful. Thanks!
interesting idea for the bio mechanical paint scheme 🙂
maybe for a whole fleet, the slightly less ancient and more “heatlhy” ships
could have a more fleshy colourd paint scheme, with less hardened bone having been formed 🙂
kind of like the colossal Titan, from Attack On Titan 🙂

Excellent to watch an expert at work.
Thanks, I’m glad ! You flatter me, guys…
Just started backstage so haven’t watched many of your vids but the one’s I have watched are brilliant to watch & plenty of wee tricks to speed up or simplify painting thanks a million @elromanozo .
Awesome work Romain! You have a very soothing voice, btw. I often have your videos on in the background, while I’m working. Just listening to you talk about colours is relaxing. Those gunships can fire the two plasma lances (IIRC they are lances) independently, so having them aiming away from each other like that is perfectly characterful for the fluff/game! They shoot out boiling hot plasma that reduces tanks to slag. They can also spit it out of that proboscis at the front (called a plasma hose). I really like your organic colour scheme, it looks like it’s taken on… Read more »
Fascinating to watch as always and I don’t even paint miniatures.
I have to say I’m always amused when Romain tells himself off for some tiny mispronunciation of English. As an Englishman abroad for many years (30+) and having some ability with languages, if I could speak French 1/100th as well as he speaks English I would be mightily proud of myself.
Thanks, I try ! But how can I be snooty and criticize everyone else, as any good frenchman does, while I make mistakes myself ? 😉
That’s easy. Just grab some more of Justin’s miniatures and run another episode of Miniatures “ER”. 😀
Yes… I might even get into Sam’s collection, when he’s not looking… But the world is still unprepared for what lies in Warren’s “crypt of horrors”, as I call it… 😉
Well, you must be one of those French gentlemen fellows. Seriously though, you obviously enjoy the language and your considered playfulness with it is highly entertaining. Apparently you can paint a bit too.
Thanks ! I love languages, all sorts. I teach that as well.
A real Cliff hanger ending there. Will Romain be able to cope with the excess water on his brush. I can’t wait for the next episode to find out. 🙂
Great video
Spoiler alert : I actually don’t. I am forced to paint it all black, then red (with Amaranth shades), then electric blue, then puce, then Dettol and start again.
Nah, I kid. It’s perfectly fine…
I could listen to Romain all day. Bliss!
I swear that I saw part two of this painting tutorial on the home page this morning, then when I went back to watch it at lunch time it had disappeared!
Legal issues with the content Romain? 😉
Nope, just technical problems… Part 2 will be up ASAP ! 🙂
Yeah probably filming part 2 with alternative endings
Just seen it. Love it. Romain has such a soothing voice. Waiting for part two 🙂
loving this scheme, might use it for the plague in deadzone/warpath, or even legion of everblight in Hordes
@elromanozo
thank you!
You know, it’s just him being French….
Hilarious and instructive. Thank you.
