I learn something new when I watch Les’ painting vids.
Since watching Les’ videos I have been using my airbrush a lot more for painting minis and it is quite amazing how much it speeds painting up by, even with all the faffing of cleaning it out etc. I 90% completed a Predator tank in one evening and because of the airbrush the finish was very smooth and really nice with a light drybrush.
Anyway, Les’ videos have certainly inspired my painting! Bravo
Although I made the mistake of weathering using oil paint and MIG pigments and apprently may have to wait up to a week before I can carry on and finish the model! :/
Nice video, nice paint job..
You have won the internt forever for doing this good sir!
since when has BoW made a pact with awesomepaintjob to upload their videos on their site? o.O (not that I mind btw)
It’s not uploaded here, the video is embedded into the site with HTML so you can view it here 🙂
Nice model of cause, but Prefer 3 colours up vids. They are far more suited to the less professional painter who doesn’t use airbrushes for everything.
Check out some of his older videos, they’re all brushwork 🙂
APJ vids always teach me something….thanks Les
The only tiny, little thing I would mention is the highlighting on the shoulder pads is a little stark but maybe that’s what you were going for.
