Get Ready for the Noh Berserker!
August 2, 2011 by beerogre
Check out this piece of early concept art for the Noh Berserker for Relic Knights from Soda Pop Miniatures.
The stuff from Soda Pop really is brilliant... and I know it's sacrilegious... but I need one of these for D&D!
However, I'm really looking forward to having a go of Relic Knights, but I'll need to wait until after Gen Con.

Does anyone know anything about Relic Knights as a game? There seems to be nothing on their site. Tabletop? Board game? Any clues?
@quirkworthy – it’s got cards… check out the sneak peak here:

Oh yeah. I remember now… 😉
Still fails to illuminate much though. I know plenty of both board and tabletop games with cards (and models) in. I suspect that GenCon will reveal some more.
Gamer gab did an interview with the a creator of sodapop. worth a listen.

It quite clearly involves Relic Knight’s or Knight’s Relics – I thought that was self evident 😉
Seriously though, I don’t know if it’s an actual game or just a series of random minis? That’s good concept art though and I like the cuteness of super dungeon explore, it’s refreshing to see 🙂
They keep talking about it as though it’s a game, but without telling us any more than that (that I’ve seen). As you say, probably something about relics and knights. Mind you, I suppose even that’s a guess. Could be about doughnuts and badgers for all I know.
How did you know about my super-secret Donughts & Badgers game???
Surely you realise by now that my spies are everywhere 🙂
mmmmm donuts
@beerogre don’t give us any ideas, your all ready making a western game. The last thing you want to get mixed in is a Doughnuts and Badgers game.
But back to the pic. If it follows the same quality most of them have, this will be a fine model.
While the “anime style in model form” doesn’t quiiiite work for me with regards to the human or close to human characters I have to say I love the non-humans. Kenobo is a great looking model and the Noh Berserker looks like it could very well go the same way if it is anything like that concept. I don’t know if it is just my tastes or the anime style restricting the sculptor but when they do non-humans the models just seem that wee bit better because they don’t have to stick to an already existing style so much they… Read more »
