Noble Armada Due Out This Week!
March 21, 2011 by beerogre
We previously covered this exciting looking game of interstellar combat by Mongoose Games.
Here's the blurb!
The popular space fleet combat miniatures game, A Call to Arms is back, in a brand new guise – drawn from the detailed background of the Fading Suns RPG, A Call to Arms: Noble Armada is a fast to learn, hard to master space combat game involving fleets drawn from the Royal Houses.
Players must learn how to knock down or bypass the shields protecting enemy vessels, and then launch assaults on ships with an all new boarding mechanic. With full campaign rules and support for tournaments, A Call to Arms is back as you have never seen it before.
The miniature look spot on and if Call to Arms was anything to go by, this could just be the game to challenge Firestorm Armada for that coveted space-battle crown.
What do you guys think guys... has anyone played Call to Arms?

I want to say the largest ship in the pic above is about 4 inches at most. That ship unless they changed things considerably is a dreadnaught and one of the largest in the game. I do have to say the background fluff is fantastic. The Fading Suns universe is a well developed rich setting. Feudal Lords vie for power under the emperor. The great Universal… Read more »
