Excellent game whem it came out in the 80s, when I was a teenager living in the midst of the cold war. Very atmospheric and engaging scenarios. Still remember my character Staff Sgt Futzberg and his arch nemesis in our campaign, Colonel Andre Navaskiov. Fantastic memories (just glad it didn’t happen…)
Great to hear as I really fancy this one
Waiting for it to arrive. Went a bit nuts with source material, including showing friends the movie THREADS. Well looking forward to this
Ohhh you got the Kickstarter? Or did you pre-order? Let me know what it is like! 🙂
Yeah I grabbed the kickstarter when I got the chance. Will do!
Yes I played a little in the 80`s too…. tracking each bullet….
I got the 2nd edition of the T2k rules … must admit that at the time I didn’t get it’s appeal, but there was something to it.
Now waiting for the kickstarter and I already know the art is great.
I hope the ‘MERCS’ expansion is planned in the future …
Yup played and Games Mastered this in the past. The weird supplement really freaked players out.
Ditched school many days to play this game back in 1988 and 89.
I hope they cleaned up the combay system a little, it was a little too crunchy in the day.
Fired our 120mm M1A1 main gun into an enemy occupied building once.
Decided to take a break for lunch.
Drove to Subway, ordered food for five people, drove all the way back.
The referee was still crunching the damage against all the occupants of that building.
To be fair, our group was pretty big and we were absurdly well-armed.
Nevertheless, still incredible fun, despite the horrific dark setting.
Really looking forward to this.
