Where are the lists???
We will be doing lists in Enlisted videos
First time I read that I thought you said “english videos” lol
If its Darrel’s opinion of course there will be cheese
Guys, you didn’t cover Illuminor Szeras.
Apart from that, excellent coverage, thank you. cheers
If we missed anything, we’ll do a catch up at some point.
But yeah are you guys not doing any army lists this time?
So what do you think, a Necron Lord whose got the Bieber Fever?
Have to green stuff a bunch of mop top hair on all the troops…
The additional unit will be an HQ choice… shrieking pre pubescent necron chicks all harping on the Lord, trying to get proof of necro-paternity.
It was fun as long as it lasted.
Thanks BoW for another great army-week!
great coverage this week, intresting to see the start of the week where most people were moaning about the fluff, then on to the death ray which turned brother against brother, and finally the tactics starting to be sussed out by the masses!
Thank you very much for this fantastic necron week coverage !
I must say that i am quite reassured regarding their rules and depth of gameplay.
They better release Tau next year before I cave and buy loads of ‘Crons, then when they do finally release Tau I’ll buy loads of them again and waste loads of money.
Thanks guys – enjoyed it 🙂
I’m still not sold on the new background but the army is interesting, one of the most dynamic for 40k so far. I always thought they could be any colour you wanted anyway but, aside from that, it’s a refreshing army. Now I just have to figure out how to convert it into 2nd Ed!
Another great theme week! For me the concept of the new background isn’t that terrible, but its just the way its written lets it down, which is pretty much the same for the rules e.g. the death ray and the limitation on cryptechs, I think the problem is compounded by suspicion I have that GW play-testing is done with other games designers -if not exclusively then at least the majority of it- who’re just not the sort of people to point out a rule is too complicated or that they don’t understand it, or to try to break the system… Read more »
Over all.. I loved your coverage.. always do. Learn so many sneaky tricky things off you guys :). Ultimatly how do I feel about my new necron codex? Had to say. Very tactical, very interesting, and there ARe some very cool nasty things to surprise your oponent with. I think the BEST thing aobut this army is the ablility to be able to theme them. Having all tomb sypiders and scarebs.. yes that would be workable. Or even 3 monoliths.. there not what they once were.. they so much softer.. but there still basically landraiders. 3xmonoliths on the table and… Read more »
can we also submit list of other armies and have those reviewed as well?
Thanks guys absolutely awesome week, love the book as well I agree on some bits of fluff but overall compared to the old book they’ve added depth of fluff, depth in tactical options and depth in choosing what kind of army you want. Also a lot of eldar style trickery which I love – very happy with the new book.
A good theme week guys with some really good coverage.
However not much was said that most people wouldn’t know after reading the codex (aside from a few of darrells sneaky cheese)
Would have loved to have seen some painting videos/ building videos plus army lists that we got with seven days of sanguinius and ‘nid week
But all in all thanks for the coverage and keep it up
Necron Week was excellent but the best thing about it was I learned vastly more about the new Necrons here than I did from GW, and I’m on their mailing list and follow the voxcaster twitter AND I’ve been on the website all week (hunting up Chaos Space Marine melta guns).
…Also Tarzan the infinite and the Harp of Dissonance. GW need to embrace their inherent METAL-ness, The tagline could be ‘even when we’re in finecast, we’re still METAL.’ Sure the metal is full of holes, but…
I think you guys doing a themed week for Dust Warfare once it comes out would be nice.
Well, Beasts of War dudes have somehow managed to convince me to start a Necron army. A big thankyou to you guys for doing all of this!
Hey I don’t even play Necrons but I like this show alot and so I watch this. It’s great to listen to while I paint.
Thanks for the videos, they keep me sane in a hotel room on a business trip. Thank the lord for free wifi !
Death Ray –
So…you guys are telling me that a red flag didn’t go off in your head when you realized that the Death Ray could kill any squad or vehicle in 40k without (a) rolling to hit or (b) allowing armor saves(ap1)? Sheesh…
Guys, excellent coverage! I really like the flavour of necrons. I quite liked them before, but then I usually like underdog races (not sure they are that now!!!). Think I’ll be starting a new army before long. And look at the cool stuff you can get to stick on the bases…
