Guys, perhaps you should have pointed out that non-walker vehicles can’t charge (but tank shock instead).
I just found that the Rule to Move through your own models and units has changed (paragraph is on page 11 for 5th and on page 10 for 6th). Is it just a mistake in the german version of the rulebook or did they leave away that passage with purpose? I searched the whole book for any other hint, but there is nothing that sais explicitly you cannot move through your own units and models. Just the one-inch rule for enemy models is still there.
We’re really trying to keep this focused on the ‘basics’.
We discussed tank shock and while its simple in principle it’s a bit more convoluted in its explanation, so we’re going to follow up this series with a range of vids looking at specific rules in more detail. 🙂
Yeah, wasn’t talkin about the actual mechanic of tank shock, or anythin alike, just the simple fact that vehicles can’t charge… People might think so from the video…
Anyway, it’s not so important after all
Is Darrel wearing the exact same shirt in every video? Warren should go barechest then.
they probably just made all the videos in one day
or he owns a lot of the same shirts :>
Like a cheque version of the batsuit wardrobe you always see in batman movies 😛
hey guys, i love your site, and your videos, but Jeesh! this basics is so boring. get to the cheese already. do you have an advanced class? veteran players are already breaking this game with deathstar shenanigans and flier spam. how can we counter eldrad and vect with 12 harlequins? and how the hell do we shoot down 10 necron scythes?? the movement tutorial isn’t helping my sisters of battle, or my nids.
please dont read any of this as hate, just impatient sarcastic whining.
keep it up
Try Back Stage.
As I have not got the rule book yet.(Waiting for the mini rule book from the starter set.)
Is ALL movment now in the Movement phase.
Eg do you chose;-
Remain stationary and recive optimum shooting
OR
move up to 6″(or 12″) and shoot in the shooting phase.
OR
move up to 6″ (or 12 “)and run (D6″)
OR
move up to 6″(or 12″) and assault move 2D6”.
(EG making a tactical chioce in the movement phase.)
Or is it movement in the movment, shooting and assault phase as 3rd 4th and 5th ed?
Would it speed up game play if all movement was done in the movement phase?
