Darrell has a chat about moving your vehicles to stop deep striking infantry or scouts getting to your side of the board and hitting them with armour busting weapons.

YES! first comment. I like it, it reeks of cheese, but I like it. I’m sure this will lead to the discovery of a condition that only affects vehicles, fidgety tank syndrome. many predators will shuffle forward and backward on the edge of the board, just to live longer 😛
Its not new though lol. Some players move 1 inch just to “prove it moved” what does it matter if you move your tank 1″ or 1/2″ of an inch, or in the case of darrell’s rubber banding, stretch armstronging, rule bending, cheese hunting touch the tank and claim it rooster tailed for movement sakes? There are always going to be people that look for a way to avoid a legit rule with a poorly written rule that may not encompass all the people that do this and say “ah ha, but I moved a millimeter so you have to… Read more »
I suppose I should say those whom lack true sportsmanship over the win at all costs cause I am a sore loser types.
However, in defense of Darrell, I suppose I should add that he has to abide by the rule for shooting at combat speed as well, therefore making it legit….. though I still think it is bad sportsmanship…
my take on it… DECLARE that you have moved. say “i drove 1″ forward, pivoted 180, drove another 1″ and pivoted back 180” You dont have to even touch you vehicle. You DO have to DECLARE it and make it known to your opponent.
I still forget to do this from time to time. And i usually regret not doing it afterwards…
I’ve always thought this a horrible addition to this edition. They really werent thinking when they wrote it down, but that goes for alot of their rules.
I’m a blood angels player. My vehicles are never stationary!
Mmmmmm I think I must watch the vid more slowly to fully understand all concepts
