Mousemuffins Designs’ New Space Elf Wraithbike
December 16, 2011 by dracs
Mousemuffins Designs have released a rather nice new Space Elf style Wraithbike.
I think this is a rather nice looking anti-grav vehicle which will make a unique addition to any sci-fi wargame.
What's your verdict on this miniature? Do any of you like the look of it?
This would also work as a 15mm grav tank, a really massive sci-fi flyer for 6mm or even a space ship.
The lack of tell-tale details that would give away the scale make it really useful for different things.
Seen these on Coolmini a couple of weeks ago. They really are pretty!
Am I right in thinking, that this is supposed to be a Spirit stone operated jetbike?
I thought the Eldar spirits of the dead, were supposed to have the reflexes of an old lady on Valium.
I actually love them!
I also love the drones to:

I think the drones are even better (just by a bit) than the Wraithbike. Great paint job as well.
The drones have a certain ‘creepy’ feeling to them that I think really works well.
The bike would make a cool hover tank in 15mm and the drones would be great walkers in 15mm too.
I might buy from them just because their name is Mousemuffins. Best name EVER!!!
Anything to make 40k more interesting.
Oh yeah, it looks cool. Don’t get me wrong, but about as fluffy as a snake.
Great alternative for GW, the tank also promises to be interesting.
Honest thoughts? More boring and derivative 40k inspired models, and not particularly well made either.
*yawn*
Thumb me down lads.
I have one on my painting table right now. They are fantastic.
Molding quality is better than Forgeworld and there are sizes equivalent to Jetbikes, Vypers….and a grav tank on the way.
Making a whole army out of them to proxy as Eldar and putting them on lovely Micro Arts Studio Wraith Stone bases:

I’ve seen these in the flesh and it is nice to see garage designers coming through producing quality casts and designs. Sure, they may be based on another companies designs, but that wasn’t original either. A new take on an old design is a welcome change and at these prices and quality of casting, I’d say: Go for it Mousemuffins!
