just watched the how to vids over on the mercs site, I think the kemvar and the ISS are calling to me
will have to be the Kemvar for me i likes the sneaky sneaky staby staby… ^.^

Kemva models look awesome imo, so good choice Justin. Would like the Texico to though as the cowboy hatted one looks like a nice mini. really hard to get good close ups of all the minis, hope BoW will have some good shots (pardon the pun). 😛
KemVar is great. And if you like sneaking and/or stabbing, you need to try their seventh model, the Shock Trooper. She couldn’t be more different from the Khador Shocktroopers we know and love.
I agree. The Texico cowboy hat looks cool and I felt they could have benefitted from a better gallery of the minis.
C’mon BoW. Pls let us get some close up’s of the mini’s. I gotta watch the merc’s vids yet, but so far I have only looks to go on.
I’ve painted the KemVar and CCC, and I’ve got a box of Texico sitting around waiting for me to get some warbeasts finished. KemVar are in desperate need of a rebalance (stealth is a bit too powerful), but are otherwise a fun group to play with. I have to admit though, I didn’t think I’d like painting the CCC, but I found the models to be really fun to paint. They’ve got a ton of surface detail, and once you find a good formula for yellow it really allows you to highlight all of that detail.

I’m interested to see how the cards and stuff turn out… As I remember correctly from the QS rules, you use them for LOS and movement and stuff as well right!
And hell, any week that can get Warren giggling is one I don’t wanna miss!

Have been looking at MERCS for quite awhile now but none of my local game stores ever carried it so I held off. Just a few days before MERC week was announced one of the stores unexpectedly brought some of the line in. For the two to be so close obviously has to be destiny. I now have the rulebook and the Kemvar squad. 🙂
