MaxMini New Greatcoat Leg Components
April 2, 2012 by brennon
MaxMini seem to have become the psychopath of the war gaming world, releasing body parts like this for sale! I jest; check out these new Greatcoat Legs for use with your human warriors and then think up just what you're going to mount on top of them...
An immediate use for these metal legs (which come in a pack of six) is as additions to your Imperial Guard army. Use them to make some coated up warriors from the ice worlds. You could use them however for Historical gaming or even Fantasy I would warrant.
What would you use them for?

They look a bit doughy round the edges, but that might be the soft highlights in the paintjob clashing with the washed out white crop background, I’d probably use them with the armoured torsos and a mix of the commando and biohazard mask heads maxmini have on the site, and use the piles and piles of spare arms I have from guardsmen…
THANK YOU MAXMINI!!! It has been a very long time for a good quality greatcoat on the market. Many of us will get this as it really is needed for many guard looks. But can they please sell them in packs of ten. It like the hotdog wiener, bun issue all over again.
I think there’s only one problem with these legs – each pose is too distinct. It makes spotting clones easier since all runners use the same legs which are too clearly different to the standing legs and so on. Some more basic poses would be good for a massed army, but otherwise these are top notch pieces and very good for Weird World War in addition to IG armies and historicals.
