Mark Strong Talks Space Marine
August 24, 2011 by brennon
The voice of Captain Titus, a Space Marine of the Ultramarine chapter should of course carry the right amount of gravitas. So Mark Strong seems a pretty good fit doesn't he?
Check out his video above where he talks about voicing the Captain of the Ultramarines in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine...
For those of you who didn't know, the demo is actually out now on all platforms so go check it out!
Are you geared up to serve the Emperor?

An interview worth watching. Mark Strong’s voice pretty much nails what the architypical space marine should sound like. And since they got Mark Strong, there’re probably other famous actors giving their voice to other character of the game.
The older Ultramarine in the demo sounds a bit like Philip Glennister. Dunno if it is him though.
I heard that the demo has a 24 hour timer on it. But I was wondering if that was 24 hours play time or 24 houres real time?
Man, I hate space marines. But I have got to get this game!
The demo was ace so cant wait for this un 🙂
wow, mark strong playing a good guy for once 😛
“Alright Tosker!!!!” To have someone of Mark Strong’s calibre involved in this is quite a coup, obviously this isn’t this going to be some mere video game. Good job my brother is going to get his in a few weeks, I’m quite keen to take a look of it myself now.
Funny I never thought back when I watched ‘Our Friends in the North” when I was 16, the most fantastic drama series I ever saw growing up, that we’d have Eccleston go on to be the 9th Doctor, Craig as Bond and now Strong as Captain Titus. Fantastic!!!
“Without giving anything away….. ”
So the Inquisitor betrays them and summons deamons. We done you gave everything away.
to be fair with him, the first trailers were showing the Inquisitor being possesed by Chaos
this isn’t something we don’t knew about
Tried the demo for PC and damn did they get i right!! Best 3rd person action game I play for ages! Relic once again shows us that they truly are top notch! 😀
Not just the visuals, the sounds were bang on. Hearing a bolter fire you can feel it in your bones. Great job THQ!
I cant wait for this game to come out.

Sigh…
Just makes me more annoyed at how Ultramarines turned out…
I’ve gotta say, I’m a massive video games snob and not GW’s biggest fan, but I really enjoyed the demo, also interesting to hear an actors first impressions of the 40k universe, he either had a crib sheet or he knows his stuff because he seemed pretty up on his 40k terminology.
i do hope he has gone mockney cockney
as that would right up my apples and pears and put a smile on me old boat race
