Mantis Tank Once Again Stalks Out of Blight Wheel

Blight Wheel have announced on their blog that they will once again be able to produce their Mantis Walker Tank!
This great looking sculpt, standing on a 95x120mm oval base, would make a great addition to many sci-fi games. I'd be tempted paint one up in steam punk style and use it in Secrets of the Third Reich.
Unfortunately it may take a while for enough minis to be produced to start appearing in the store again, but we can wait patiently for this mechanical menace.
Who needs a spidery walker tank?
It may be steampunk in design – just look at the archaic cannon mount – but I can see a lot of potential Triarch Stalker conversions coming from this bad boy. People do in fact make steampunk Necrons so maybe it won’t even need modifying:

Looking at the resin cast it looks rather flat and lacks lots of detail. But and this is a big but, the painted one shows how well it can look if in the right hands. I guess I can’t judge a book by it’s cover is the lesson I can learn from this.
That mantis tank might want to avoid Will Smith. I would say that there is enough detail in that sculpt.
