Mantic Boost Your Plague & Enforcer Squads For Deadzone
January 25, 2014 by brennon
If you were thinking that you needed some more muscle in Deadzone and you play as the Plague or Enforcers then Mantic Games have solved your problem by adding the new Booster Packs on their pre-order list.
As you can see, plenty of positions have been catered for with these booster packs allowing you to pick and choose what you want to upgrade with your kill team. I haven't yet been able to play any Deadzone by I am drawn by both the Plague and the Enforcers as my faction of choice.
I would of course love to pick up the Forge Fathers but I think I'm going to be waiting a little bit for them.
Will you be picking up a booster pack?

Forgefathers have lots of lovely stuff coming (who said orbital drop armour?) so no worries there. I am looking forward to getting the second massive box from Mantic when the next shipment goes out (all the stuff that was not ready for the pre-Christmas deployment).
I am hoping to paint my Plague with less pink than Mantics…

Some of those look cool, like the iron man chaps (can’t remember their name right now) and the bone plated plague guys, but those plague grunts are awful! They are all out of proportion. The hounds look off too but I think a paint scheme change would sort that.
They are mutants, they’re meant to look out of proportion. 🙂
🙂 Yeah, but they look OTT to me
As someone who bought the game at a shop rather than kickstarter I can’t recommend it highly enough. Theres a decent Enforcer force in the main box and the Plague’s is even better. I think the stage 1 plague model (the really big one) is my favourite ever mantic mini, I bought the whole game off the back of it. On topic I think the add ons are nice, I do like the Terraton Plague thingy and the enforcer sniper. I’m still getting to grips with the game personally, but for now I think my first purchase to expand the… Read more »
i played this game at my local game shop the other day (as well as dreadball ) and it was great. the first game system I’ve played where I’ve walked away and wanted to buy it for the rules system rather than just the miniatures or the fluff (which i also loved). i can see it being my main game along side warpath (i think i might be the only warpath player in the country). in short, just from the 4 turn demo i played and lost, i cannot recommend this game highly enough.(and the sculpts are fucking beautiful, the… Read more »
