Lunar Pattern Fabric Mat from CorSec Engineering
May 4, 2011 by beerogre
Do you need a lunar surface to play you latest sci-fi game on?
CorSec Engineering have just released a new printed fabric mat that might just fit the bill.
You can choose to have your mat preprinted with a square or hex grid, so you can run maybe a D&D or Battletech game on it.
The choice is yours!

6×4 = 55 pounds delivered to the uk.
Got a sample a few months back and really liked it. The texturing is great and holds paint really well. Some of the heavier dry brushing didn’t stay on when rolled tight, but was visible and added depth to the table.
This is the reverse unpainted.

Tiny!
no I just have very big hands…
Ba boom boom tish! 😉
The price is pretty steep for just a fabric gaming mat. On the other hand I really like the options that the company is giving us players. You decide what size the hexes/squares are. I would welcome a gaming map to Battletech with 2″ or even 3″ hexes. Gives you better sense of scale and you can actually fit more than one mech model into the hex!
