What’s Been Going on With The Lord Inquisitor?
May 10, 2013 by dracs
It has been quite a while since we last saw a proper update on the progress of the fan-made 40k film The Lord Inquisitor, but now the project's creator has put out a video to let us know where things are currently standing.
In the vid Erasmus gives us an idea of the various stages and developments which the project has seen, as well as where it is currently standing.
I won't tell you everything in the video, but one of the most exciting things for us fans is the announcement of a short prequel piece for The Lord Inquisitor. This will be about 8 minutes long and will focus around this guy:
They are also currently looking for people to help in making the film, so if you think you have what it takes to help with the animation etc. be sure to apply here.
This video has me really excited. After a while of comparative quiet it is a relief that this project is still going strong.
What do you hope to see from The Lord Inquisitor?

All looking good and I liked the little jibe at Ultramarine…I still have a few nightmares about that.
It’s a shame that it still looks like it’s a long way off. I was hoping to see it sooner rather than later but I guess you can’t rush these kind of things, especially when they are being done as a fan project.

That is true> This is really a labor of love. And it is just a prologue in 2014. But the quality does seem to be there.
They have talent times ten. I really wish we could have gave donations but the rules are the rules.
Someone has to make an epic film set around 40k and I think these guys are the heroes that will do it, I can not wait. Keep going guys
that’s the sort of thing the program i use at college (3DS Max) can do? why am i being taught how to make a super hero called jelly man but not land raiders and daemons? sure jelly man has the power to summon haribos at will but … LAND RAIDERS!!
anyway jealously of skills aside this is really looking good and i can’t wait to see it and the prequel when they’re done 😀
Every time I see something new about LI I want to run around the room screaming ‘Yayyy!’ like a five year old.
It’s a shame my artistic qualities just about stretch to a reasonable stick-man. 🙁
Wow!! WOW!!!
>.< damn my no artistic talented self! Feel so useless now. Those tanks…were real I tell you!
