Limited Edition Assassin From Blight Wheel
July 19, 2011 by dracs
Blight Wheel have released an extremely limited edition Killer. When I say extremely limited I mean there are only 60.
I think this model would be perfect as possibly a death cult assassin in a Grey Knight's army, although what with there being only 60 you might not be inclined to use it for wargaming.
OK guys what's the verdict? Any of you think you might try and get this? Remember there is only a limited number so hurry and buy it while you can.
The legs don’t look right, its like she’s floating rather than the leaping/bounding pose the rest of the model seems in, and they seem a bit crooked .
Hrmmm… somethings not quite right with this figure…..
everything is slightly out of proportion, assuming the thorax area is in scale than the head and the arms are too small + the legs are to far apart from each other, and this “surfing” pose doesnt work for me either. in the end: I dont like it.
The head and arms ARE in scale, but it’s true scale rather than 40K/Warmahordes heroic scale with the enlarged head and hands/arms.
The thing is…the gun IS heroic scale, since if this is supposed to be a female Eversor then with true scaling that pistol is the relative size of a shotgun.
The pose is definitely awkward though – surfing on a couple of what looks like servo skulls doesn’t give a good impression of leaping dramatically.
Skull face? Long fingers? Pistol?
That’s not a Death Cult Assassin, that’s an Eversor Assassin :p
A model obviously meant to appeal to 40k gamers that is produced in a very limited run? WHY?
It kind of loses a great deal of value to most of it’s target audience by being unofficial.
there other models are quite appealing , but this is whacked….not for me thanks
It’s not supposed to be an Eversor, read Mechanicum 😉
I’m a HUGE fan of BW, especially their robots! If any of you out there like the Ad Mech look, Blight Wheel should be for you!
