Learn to Use a Katana at Puppets War
April 18, 2013 by dracs
Few killing implements are quite as stylish as the Japanese katana and now, thanks to Puppets War, your miniatures can wield these fearsome blades.
The good thing about these is that they can easily be modified to fit with either fantasy or sci-fi miniatures. I mean who hasn't, at some point, wanted to make up a samurai style army for their game? This can be even more easily achieved with the use of these shoulder pads.
Personally, I would be tempted to give a couple of these katanas to some of Mantic's Corporation forces, creating my own cool elite unit and giving the army in general an alternate cultural focus.
Which minis do you think could use a katana?

Does anyone stock Puppets War in the UK
I may finally be able to play my Orkinawa scenario, with a lot of bullshido 🙂
If i was a Tau player, i’d be all over them blade upgrades and after some samurai based sci-fi heads to make up a really japanese inspired version of the Farsight Enclave. But im not a Tau player and they are space smurfs. 😉
The pads look simple, too simple.
The swards on the other hand (no pun intended) look just like how I would want them for Eldar Banshees.
