Kromlech have put up images of their latest Work-in-Progress, an Orc Desert Buggy!
This vehicle is certainly looking promising and I cannot wait to see how it looks when the crew is finished.

I like it! I think it would look great next to the Puppets War’s one. If I only had the money to buy them. Gret sculpt non the less!
@jakubmb – yes if I had some more hobby budget I’d love to combine this kit and the puppet mexican heads… Would make a great diorama piece.
God, i need to get more stuff done so i can start to order even more stuff. Wonder if theyr going to make a rokit turret for it as well? My ork army has silly growing potential anyway, seeing as i want a huge amount of stuff from Kromlech, and Forgeworld has a few bits and bobs and tanks i also want.
Remember back in the day when GW has all those metal vehicles for the Orks… the flamthrower deal that looked like a garbage can on wheels… and the rocket launcher version… The wartrack and the warbuggy? This is back when they used the flatbed ork Trukk as the main delivery vehicle. Everyone complained that you couldn’t actually fit 10 guys on the truck, but I kept thinking hey, smaller truck = lower profile, harder to get los on.
They had these grots on unibikes, where a mekboy had cut off the grots legs and mounted them on the unibike strut. I had about 10 of those guys.
Ah those were the days.
Anyway, this vehicle looks like a looted IG vehicle, not a pure orky creation. Good though. I just think they need to make one without the Orky bits. And for Gork’s sake, get some aftermarket pipes on that thing (at least 3x the current size). If you can hear yourself think while driving it, its just not Orky.
… your description of the unibikes and grots… it was a “WTF!” moment for me!
Ive got a bunch of that second edition ork stuff lying about. Tho most of it im not inclined to use since the old trucks are too small, and considdered bad form to use, tho im considering using them for some kind of weapon rig, put a few together, and a large gun or some kind of doomsday device. The other stuff i have to work over. but at the moment im having too much fun just using more footsloging boyz….
It looks like a winner to me.
A cute little thing. Kromlech needs to make more stuff like this, I’m really liking it. I’m getting this for GorgaMorka, if it doesn’t cost a fortune. Only needs a coat of paint. In red, of course 🙂

Couldn’t find any shots of the grots on uniwheels. I think they were in the 98 catalog.
Kromlech seem to produce some very high quality stuff, im always impressed by the quality of their sculpts
