Knight Models Reduce The Dark Knight to 35mm
May 4, 2012 by brennon
While most of their models are around the 50/70mm mark Knight Models have slipped in a new release of The Dark Knight in 35mm!
A great version of The Caped Crusader. Love the flowing nature of the cape and the subtle change in colours throughout the suit. A nice mix of the technological and the older Batman in this model. Awesome gauntlets!

I wonder why they went with 35mm ?
28 to 32mm would have put it in gaming scale with about the same detail.
Nice model though.
Most of Knight Models miniatures are more for collectors and display than gaming purposes. I guess that’s why the scale is off.

Thats one awesome looking Batman and first like this that I have seen. I have seen plenty of HC Batman figures but non of them were even nearly as detailed as this one.
I’ve seen some of Knight Models and the majority are of good quality. The only very very small critique I have is the size of the packaging. Rather large for small models.
I have to agree the mix of old and new is interesting – while the colours are older the Batsuit itself has some subtle armoured plate detail. It shows you can theme the model to the era you want to a degree and it’s a great sculpt, full of dark and brooding character. The paint job as well has great highlights and shading – is it an Angel piece? It looks good enough…
that model will be gone in minutes!
