Knight Models Bring the Empire to Tatooine

When it comes to finding escaped droids on a desert planet a trooper needs to be kitted out appropriately. Well Knight Models have you covered with their new 30mm Sandtroopers.
These detailed scale minis are a must for any Star Wars fan and collector (looking at you Warren). Their 30mm scale also means that they can easily be used in a Star Wars theme table top wargame, perfect for combining the greatest of your geeky delights.
Do any of you know any rules for a Star Wars wargaame?
More great stuff for Star Wars from Knight Models. There’s easily enough pose variety in their Stormtroopers to work in a skirmish game…maybe they’ll extend their license and make their own ruleset?
Being Sandtroopers, these guys need proper desert bases. My faves based on the dune-like texture are Micro Art, but there’s a whole load out there:

These Sand Troopers are very well sculpted models. There is plenty of detal in these (as much as old design allows) models.
Poor Stormtroopers, they never catch a break lol. At least the ones posted to Tatooine avoided getting blown up on the Death Star.

Those arent the droids I’m looking for.
Classic 🙂
Why hasn’t there ever been a legitimate table top Star Wars minis game? I’m not talking pre-painted Star Wars minis games on hex grids, I’m talking all out, built it, paint it, measure it minis games! It would be huge.
I really like the beaten, lower tech, look of the Sandtroopers compared to the rest of the Knight Models Star Wars range. It seem like Wayland Games will be getting these on their selves at some point, I might just have to order. Paint job really captures the essence of the films brilliantly.
