Kabuki’s Dark Knight Gets a Lick of Paint
March 1, 2012 by brennon
The Dark Knight was probably one of the most popular releases from Kabuki Models, so they have gone the whole nine yards and painted up a version to let you see how it looks completed...
A great paint job on this miniature and really makes a difference to see it like this. I still don't like the back of the model with that odd pack but the front has some amazing design too it. Maybe this will sway some of you into buying him?
Don't forget it's in resin too!
What do you make of the paint job, and are you swayed?
That looks awesome.
Now thats how you paint! Great work.
The shoulder pads are almost touching his head, and if anything the angled chest plate makes it looks more like a Megatron concept with a human head rather than a Primarch, who incidentally I’d always imagined in a half-helm rather than bareheaded.
There’s nothing really “wrong” with it though just a lot of stuff I don’t like the aesthetics of, and the details are nice and crisp looking, no fuzzy edges or bendy guns.
I think the design is atrocious on this one.
Conrad Kurze?
Corax, methinks.
Nah, they already made Corax:
