Kabuki Kick off a New Range with Sci-Fi Napoleon
February 13, 2012 by brennon
Looking to go into a new range of Stand Alone figures, Kabuki Models have started off with a fantastic looking 30mm Sci-Fi Napoleon. Check him out below...
Love the imperious look and folded arms, dominating the battlefield from afar as his troops go to war. A great mix of the Gothic and the Science Fiction. Its a shame that the scale is larger because it would be perfect for an Imperial Guard commander.
A great painting project perhaps?
It really is a shame about the scale – Waterloo with lascannons sounds nothing but awesome. It’s the pose/attitude and the greatcoat that’s truly ‘gothic’ though, the armour style seems slightly anime to me, since it has sleeker panels with some of them having the ‘sci-fi dot clusters’ representing layered/thicker armour or mass production punch-out holes or…well I don’t know why they have them but they do. 🙂
Primarchhhhhhhhhh, 54 mm is perfect for this , screams what I imagine Horus to be…
I am impressed.
That would be so perfect as the Captain for my Rogue trader Necromunda gang … alas in 28mm.
So he would be tall – Most GW 28mm are 32mm so …
funny, I was thinking the same thing but as an enforcer captain.
The Kabuki site (and the price tag) say it’s 30mm scale.

Unless they are making a larger one too?
Other parts of the internet were saying 58mm, but maybe that’s adding on the scenic base underneath the model itself. Will amend the story to take that into account if its indeed the case.
BoW Ben.
And it is indeed correct. The model does appear to be 30mm. Sorry for the confusion there folks! 🙂
BoW Ben
So I can haz Warterloo wiv lazcannons? Yay! 😀
He looks like a Beats of War Tzar ro me.
You know who he could also be – a Napoleon reconstruction by Aleph for Merovingian Ariadna sectorial. 🙂
very very nice! Already saving some cash for those minis
Very nice mini!
a shame about the scale though.
And @synthetik agreed, but I don’t think Horus is right, more of one of the Siege Masters A.K.A Rogal Dorn or Perturabo.
give him a mustache and beard youve got emperor mengsk from star craft
Oh my god, I need this in ways I never knew about before.
This is a work of art.
Looks like it’d be a cracker IG proxy!
I like the Miniature. Will use him for my historical French army for fun. 🙂
The best is the price.
Its a great miniature. The problem is that without the bicorne hat people are only going to know that its Napoleon if you tell them!
Sod the scale, why can’t he just be a really tall bloke?
Cause he’s supposed to be Napoleon? 😀
apparently he was short but so was everyone else, so he wasnt short at all…sure i read that somewhere
I seem to recall the lack of height where the result of anti-Naploleon propaganda – great succes if it still work 200 years later 😉
Not helped by the whole thing of French and English measurements being different.
If I remember right it was something like the French foot being 13 inches rather than the 12 it was in England.
So Napoleon was 5’3 ish in the French measurement, which was actually 5’8ish in the English.
Judging by the pained expression, I’d say just like his namesake, the futuristic Napoleon suffers with piles as well.
I suspect those armored legs are in fact lifts to make him appear taller.
He’s no commander in the field.
He ain’t pointing. Everyone knows the boss dude has to be pointing.
Judging by the expression on his face Sci-fi Joshephine has a headache tonight. Oh the bitter irony
That Napoleon was short is British propaganda, he was of average hight. He did have a HUGE ego though…
Old Bogie was twice the height of Tom Cruise which made him a lofty 4’6″
on his horse
I’m so getting this guy as my Corporation general!
very fun 🙂
Nice figure but Napoleon??? Give me a break.
I might do a woman with power armour and call her Sci-Fi Margret Thatcher (making sure it looks nothing like her).
He looks spot on for a Cygnar warcaster! #1 make it so~
