Kabuki Bring the Battle of Trafalgar to the Far Future
June 29, 2012 by brennon
If you ever wondered what it would be like if the Battle of Trafalgar had been fought in space, with an armada of star vessels, then Kabuki Models might be helping you out a little with the release of Nelson-X...
I love how they have made use of the fact he lost his arm, replacing it with that awesome power fist! An awesome model that looks like it would be great for perhaps a Rogue Trader from the world of Warhammer 40,000?
While the site says there isn't any stock for this figure, it might just be that there hasn't been a proper release on the website yet. So wait and see if you really want this miniatures...
What do you think of Cyber-Nelson?
With a powerfist like that he’s got Mantic’s Warpath written all over him. God save the Queen!
Thats actually interesting idea. Taking historical character and making him or her into scifi themed model.
They did the same with Napoleon not long ago. Can still see him on the front page of their website.

Sci-fi Nelson fighting Sci-fi Napoleon…now there’s a diorama begging to be made! 🙂 They’d look great together on a futuristic base with a steel plate look, like a starship bridge. It’s only a shame that Napoleon’s pose isn’t combative, but then I think of artwork I’ve seen of Horus versus the Emperor and Horus wasn’t doing much either but it still worked…
Love the model too, great heroic pose, great detail and attention to detail – Nelson lost an arm AND an eye and they’ve both been replaced with bionics. Lovely NMM on the sword and fist as well.
This looks great minus the arm. Everything on him looks so exquisite and regal up to the arm looks more like an ork klaw than a well crafted new arm.
A Possible stand-in for a certain Mr. Yarrick perhaps?
I loved the Napoleon model but this one not so much. Maybe the power fist or something else but it just isn’t the same league as Napoleon.
That is a very wonderful concept. Like a civilized Commissar Yarrick.
