Intro to Infinity from Wargaming Trader
December 12, 2011 by beerogre
The guys at Wargaming Trader have posted a really cool overview of how to play Infinity.
It's specifically aimed at players who like 40K. If you've been interested in checking out Infinity, why not take a look?
There are two articles so far, I'll add more as they come out.
Infinity for 40K Players - Background & Factions Overview
Infinity for 40K Players - Game Mechanics
That’s nice of them. Hope it helps some cross camps.
Kudos to @ianjw for these, very useful.
Any suggestions for future articles gratefully received…
In the pipeline are miniatures & resources (where to download the QS rules, Topo’s iKube scenery etc.), dynamics of gameplay, list-building and why it’s so much less important than in 40k etc.

@spaderfish – game balance and internal/external faction balance will definitely get covered under gameplay/list-building as it’s one of the things (along with very little rock/scissors/paper) that makes putting together a force so freeform in Infinity.
Is there any eta on these articles? Have been to your site and enjoyed what I saw. Got the re-edit of the core rule book from you guys and whenever I’m hosting a game at a store or something people always like thumbing through your demo handouts that I printed up. Even the Bibliotek is a good read and an easy way to get beginners into the Infiniverse. So keep up the good work and I will look forward to seeing your projects in the future.
The next one is likely to be after Christmas, it’s our busiest time of year for eBay & the webstore at the moment…
