Infinity Sneak Peek: “Iguana” Squad!!!
September 24, 2013 by dignity
This bad ass TAG from the Nomad faction looks ready to roll out with the Corregidor Jurisdictional Command, and if I'm not mistaken I'm betting you might see one of these working as a mercenary in the Qapu Khalqi forces for Haqqislam.
So let's get down to brass tacks here and have a little word about just why you might want to have one of these bad boys on the table top. For one its a big ass robot! But seriously there is one rule that makes this one of the coolest things to come out from the Infinity team. Not only has the TAG got a sweet red paint job, it also comes with an ejector seat as standard. So when your buddy has finally shot down you mighty machine of war the pilot gets fired out to keep on fighting!!!
I'm loving the style of this mini as you can really see just how the pilot would fit in and you can imagine how it would look as the TAG is falling apart around him as he pops off and let's be honest that's going be one pissed off little Nomad!!!
One little Update guys we just got sent a step by step painting guide by Angel!
Coolest TAG yet. And that’s saying something considering how many other excellent models have been released by CB.
Gorgeous paint job – I don’t even play Nomads and yet I MUST own one!
Just awesome O_O
I know I’ll get one or two to run with my Qapu Khalqi. Nothing like having a TAG where the pilot is just as mean and pops out with heavy fire power.
Lovely model its a shame I wont be able to do it as much justice as the in house painter has 🙂
This is pretty much all I need in life. And I need it now.
Sweet stuff from CB tho I don’t like the little arms popping out the torso of the TAG. Besides that, bad boy tings for Infinity again.
Oh man, that looks AWESOME!
Hell yeahhh!!!!….HVY INFANTRY filled T.A.G.!!!!….Since i read the description a looong time ago i´ve wanted to see one and of course have one!!!!
Day one buy. Easy.
alright this might get me into Infinity 😛
This thing is super awesome. It reminds me of the Motorslaves from Bubblegum Crisis!
At last my nomads will be complete !
This one is simplicity itself compared to the Jotum or Dragoes, and very very cool…
I see this model and the first thing to go though my head was wheres the book with em in I need to know how many I can field at once
They certainly look really pretty. Best models for infinity this year I’d say. However…did something change? I thought the model with HMG is supposed to be the mech’s pilot too,and..his arms look nothing like the arms of the pilot IN the TAG. to me.
So shiny….*drool*
I play PanO but it looks like I may have to start Nomads down the road…
I did not like the Nomads Lizards and Salamanders so I didn’t have hopes for the Iguana. But is just so dead sexy. If I can get units of just the Pilots, or troopers in similar armor I would be ecstatic! Now I just have to convince my bank account that I can afford one…
Broke bread with the CB guys at Gen Con, after meeting them, I better understand why they do the things they do,,,, their early stuff was good… the newer stuff is incredible…..
I like everything except the crotch.
I’m not sure if saying that makes you boring, or really imaginative!
Hah! Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. But luckily (for me at least) I’ve seen enough anime mecha to know that is a very common, if odd, feature. So when I see it on an Infinity TAG I know it’s because they are just trying to replicate the look 😀
At least in most anime that piece looks like it has a purpose. With the very narrow section I assume they were going for a wasp silhouette but it just comes off as extremely phallic in the top picture. And there is no mechanical implied or conveyed purpose to the extension.
Another impressive TAG by CB, the move to digital sculpting for TAGs has produced some really stunning models!
Really like it.
More of a conservative and traditional Mecha design. I wish they would offer stuff like a second arm set or legs for more varied posing.
Wonderful model. This will definitely end up in my collection. Good thing I collect both Nomads and Haqqislam. …I wonder how this TAG would look in green.
Before I realised the smaller miniature was the ejected pilot and not a squad mate, I couldn’t help thinking, “I shal call him: MinIguana…”
Good lord, he’s a thing of beauty.
