INFINITY Sneak Peek DIRE FOES: Isobel McGregor
October 18, 2013 by dignity
Our good buddy Carlos has sent through a cool little sneak peek of Isobel McGregor, the new Caledonian Intel Spec-Op for the forces of Ariadna. This is one bad ass little miniature and I can't wait to see what else the Infinity team has come up with this month!
I think I’ve met her before at a punk rock show, minus the assault pistol.
Great looking paint job.
I am very intrigued to see where Dire Foes takes the game. All the characters look awesome so far.
Bonnie Langford with attitude!
Another generic sci-fi character from CB .. j/k :p
Isthis a dire foes or a spec ops? Ithought the spec ops were a little more genericly named?
Dire Foes are spec-ops with special scenarios. You can still use them as a spec op in the Paradiso campaign.
The SpecOps description on the Dire Foes characters are a bit of a misnomer, since they are more random characters rather then ‘true’ SpecOps per se. It even says so in their stat blocks.
She looks fantastic, but wow he did the tartan…… he has done others before, but this one on the concept art looked really difficult.
How can anyone still buy 40k stuff after seeing a figure like this? Once again, I’m total blown away by the Infinity line.
Yes, it’s a lovely miniature, but does everything have to be about how much you hate GW? This is getting very boring very quickly.
How is this affecting you exactly? I think we came to the conclusion everyone is entitled to an opinion, and that its a subjective thing. Just because i think buying GW products is equal to feeding the troll doesnt mean i want to hurt peope who think they arent overpricing their plastic.
It’s only effecting me because it’s making the comments section a tedious read. Blah, blah I hate GW, blah, blah GW is overpriced, blah blah GW minis are crap. Yeah, we get it. Do you really need to say it over and over ad nauseum? Do you even need to mention GW in a post that has nothing to do with GW? It’s coming across as juvenile trolling.
Could I suggest you stop taking the bait, people are feeling a bit anti-GW due to recent events and all your replies are doing is fuelling the debate.
Personally I have little interest in GW products as I’m principally a historical player, although it would appear that through an annuity I hold with Legal and General, I’m effectively an investor in GW.
Everything has to do with GW, apparently so much that people still pay for their minis. Its worth mentioning often and extensively what they in reality are not. And sure it might be a bit of trolling on my part, but atleast im not trolling the entire industry.
Man, you’d have to be so thin with the paints or all that detail would be lost. If I did up that figure it would look like the Michelin Man.
When I saw the preview photo in the home page I thought: Wow, CB is making big scale miniatures now! But no, Angel Giráldez just learned how to paint using an electronic microscope…
I believe Angel paints this is a larger scale and uses a shrink ray to take them down to 28mm size.
Stunning !
Man their stuff is so good it hurts. Btw Miniwargaming.com and Bell of Lost souls now have Infinity battle reports, check em out !
awesome, will do !
Love the chewk bones on her
must be science fiction!!!! i tell you a red headed scot with a tan!!
Awesome mini! Can’t wait for the the other scuplts
awww, no kilt 😉
Cool mini great look. Here’s on idea for a BoW video “How to paint tartan on 28mm figs” I would like to know the brush sizes they are working with.
