I liked the previous Su Jian better, but this one is by no means inferior !
I have mix reactions to the Su Jian, feline form is too fantasy for me, I rather something more robotic and less inspire by nature
A great pair of models although the secondary form might look better without the tail. Of course, it would look even better if the secondary form was a motocycle, Motoslave style!
Wow, just wow. I’m right now in an “Infinity Hiatus” but the recent YuJing minis (my faction of choice) were slowly changing that. The new Su-Jian may have been what I needed to return to the game! Great panther mode, lovely human mode. Although I will change the blade for some wolverine style claws *wink wink*
Personally speaking I prefer this version over the other one. I think the High Mobility form is perfectly in keeping with Infinity’s setting, plus it has the added bonus of not looking like a complete nightmare to put together (the old combat form looks like it would be incredibly fiddly to put together and keep in one piece).
I can appreciate the old sculpt.. But, this new one certainly seems a bit more in line. The idea of speed comes across well, unlike that of a 4-legged ‘walker’.

Love it. That is a bad A** pussy cat, great look. I wrote a list a few weeks ago that includes 2 of these, just for fun really although I may now need a few boxes of these.
I can’t help but think of Ravage from the Transformers… and it’s a good thing in my book! Can’t wait to pick it up!
It is a fantastic reimagining of the old sculpt and a nice implementation of cyber animal robotic form, its a part of sci fi that while not mainstream, it reemerges from time to time and when done right the results are stunning.
Hmm, looks stunning but despite the previous version being a giant pain to assemble, I’m kind of with Romain on this and still like the original. If I didn’t have the previous version I would probably have gone for the updated one, however this doesn’t give me the same compulsion to replace the old version in the same way the Gui’jia did.

The models look good, but they are going a bit overboard with the cute animal manga. If everyone can take a battlebeast it’s nothing special anymore.
Stylistically, within the Infinity universe, I liked the more bulky and robotic version better, especially for Yu Jing who seem to favor heavier machinery according to the fluff.
Better leave the crazy creatures to the Tohaa and some elements of Bakunin.
I severely dislike the man into cat thing. Severely. That said the craftsmanship is excellent. As usual when it comes to CB.
I actually really liked the previous miniature (the concept of it at least)
Although, this is a fab looking sculpt also.
At least now you can have a choice whichever one you like!
