Nice interview, short but to the point.
For me Infinity is THE Sci Fi System out there.
Everything is top notch : Art, Minis, Rules and Pricing and also the way and pace they support their Armies.
The books are the most beautiful and lavish i know.
Infinty deserves to be played by much more people.
The one minor quibble I have with Infinity, is that it still kind of feels like an Alpha-state game. The combat and fluff are fleshed out beautifully, but the more I play, the more I realize that the factions themselves were designed for complex scenarios. Maybe its just because I’m a Nomads player, but a lot of the skills and equipment were designed with a lot more in mind. I feel like I’m spending points for skills and equipment that don’t translate into valuable assets in the regular stand-off scenario. I know that Paradisio aims to rectify this, but I,… Read more »
Seeing Angel Giraldez’s painted minis in person was one of the highlights of GenCon. They’re even cooler in person than they are in pictures. The new spec ops minis look really good too. I only wish there had been some more demos of the game available. That’s the one thing that would have really made an impact on a lot more people. The system seems so impenetrable when you first read the rules. I think people need to get first-hand experience with it sometimes to really be sold on the game.
I am always impressed with Carlos in his interviews – just seems like a really great guy.
I don’t consider myself to be a “hardcore” Infinity gamer, but I DO love their figures, and I think the Infinity rules system has one of the best design structures thematic and concept in the sci-fi gaming world.
Carlos’ underlying excitement and enthusiasm about CB’s upcoming products always keeps me biting my nails in anticipation to see what is next!
You know,I’ve talked to him and is partner in crime and are superb, really down to earth people. You wouldn’t believe how nice they are, specially for a crew that’s working hard to keep such an excellent game afloat.( wish they don’t need to, but still do )
Go and Keep it up CB
Brother G
Be great to meet them. Shame I can’t make any of the meets the CB team go to as I am in NZ. Always seem like fun guys who genuinely enjoy what they do and as are excited about their products as much (if not more) than us gamers. 🙂
ARRRGGGGHHHHH
WHEN IS THE BOOK COMING OUT?
And what about the “Scarface/Cordelia” pack?
Brother G
I believe we won’t be seeing a full public release of Scarface and Cordelia till late November/early December…
Want now. *sigh*
Me to brother, me to.
🙁
Brother G
I wish I could have been there! Next year guys.. next year
