Heavy Guns On The Horizon For Victoria Minis In 2014
January 6, 2014 by brennon
Victoria Miniatures are making sure that their infantry are supported by some very deadly looking heavy weapons and in 2014 you should be seeing these Laser Cannon batteries making an appearance on the battlefield.
Now that is a nice chunky bit of kit that's been done in co-operation with Jake Schneider as you can see above. I like the mix of the old and the new with a very World War I/II looking gun carriage holding that modern weapon. It has the contrast that we've come to expect from Victoria Miniatures.
If they are working on Laser Cannons then hopefully they are also working on some other weapons like machine guns and rocket launchers to add to the heavy weapon battery.
What do you think?
Very old school with the wheel style but still good over all.
Old school… a cruciform or rotating mount would have been more effective, allowing 360 degree field of fire (like the Flak36 and the 25-pounder respectively)
I guess this is supposed to be a more man-portable piece of gear, like a 6lbr or pak38
