Have You Heard of Neuroshima Tactics?

Neuroshima Tactics is an interesting miniatures skirmish game set in a post-apocalyptic future. That might be be something you've heard a lot nowadays but check out some of the models from the various factions below...
Above are miniatures from the Borgo, Outpost and Moloch factions, all with a rather dark look to them! Each of the factions has its own back story and play style. There are even a selection of heroes that can be added into your games.
Certainly getting a distinct Cyber Punk vibe, mixed in with the obvious post-apocalyptic tones. The website details a little more about the different factions and where to buy the miniatures, and the rules will soon be available in their Download section.
Also check out their Facebook Page for more updates and a mass of faction miniatures.
Have you heard much about Neuroshima Tactics?
I’ve seen those miniatures in person. Most of them are ugly as Hell. The newer ones are slightly better. The game itself is shameless plagiarism of Infinity. IMO don’t bother with this crap when you have Infinity (both rules and models). But I need to say I love board games from Neuroshima setting, those are worth checking out (Neuroshima Hex, State 51: New era, Convoy).
Ah that’s certainly a shame 🙁

I’m a NST player. Rules were taken from ten years old Neuroshima RPG not from Infinity as many haters say.
Love limited ammo (enough for one or two good shots), fast plays, reactions on enemy actions, black sense of humour like a special “action movies” combos.
My hint. Don’t look at the starter boxes (exept Steel police). Publisher made huge progress durning last year.
Yeah just like the ARO system is in ‘ten years old Neuroshima rpg’… Oh wait…
Steel police models are still ugly. I have not seen even one good model from NST.
Eh, the rules are supposedly very much like Infinity with some changes (and I get this info from a stalwart Neuroshima RPG player), and the models are…well…they started out god-awful, and now are just bad and uninteresting, I guess it’s a step up. Except they’re priced almost exactly like the incredibly detailed and high quality Infinity sculpts, which kinda makes it look ever worse. Overall, it seems the publisher, being RPG and boardgame people, completely missed the point of having minis or the development of sculpts in the last decade and settled on 90’s Warzone quality.
they’re priced almost exactly like…
About the prices
Single model for Infinity ~10$
Single model for NST ~5$
Infinity Rulebook ~ 50$
NST Rulebook ~ 13$ or free full pdf
Or to use shop prices… single model for NST: 24,5pln single model for Infinity: 31pln That’s about a pound of difference in price for: Massively more dynamic sculpts, massively better details, massively better metal quality (I’ve held models from both games in my hand). In fact, I just noticed…they’re so ashamed of the earlier models they literally don’t have them on sale in any non-polish webstore it seems. As for rulebook prices, nice of you to not notice that Infinity also does free rulebook stuff. And supplement. And the 50$ rulebook is in hardbound cover and has glossy full colour… Read more »
I’ve compared prices for common models, 24PLN (~ 8$) its a price for special units. If You have NST model in hand, tell me witch one and I will tell You that You wrong or right. Today came to me minis from Reapers Chronoscope, some days ago came bunch of Hasslefree minis. Both have beautiful sculpts, but if we talking about cast quality then is better in Portal new minis. Maybe You like hardbacks, color photos, but I’m preferring something cheap. For 50$ I can buy two small or one complete army for NST. It’s that shame for skirmish games?… Read more »
> but I’m preferring something cheap. Soo…like FREE pdf perhaps? Doesn’t get cheaper than that. >Accumulator keeps the game dynamic. Still only get points for achieving stuff. So if you’re losing and active it won’t help you anywhere as much as if you were winning. Again, it helps tipping the balance even more to the winning player’s side. >If You have NST model in hand, tell me witch one and I will tell You that You wrong or right. Thanks, I’ve been able to make up my own mind since kindergarden on issues such as “cool toy or not”, but… Read more »
Same here. Shops could not sell that crap and abandoned the game. And nothing of value was lost.
Seriously, even if you want to play post apoc not-Infinity there are many, many companies that create good models. Brother Vinni for instance with Lead Adventure and Fallout miniatures, Dark Age is a Post Apoc but with some fantasy added in, and some older companies (don’t remember the names) with slightly better than NST miniatures that cost half the price. Just check eBay (or Allegro here in Poland).
> but I’m preferring something cheap. Soo…like FREE pdf perhaps? Doesn’t get cheaper than that. Free pdf is the best thing to make decision play or not, good or bad, but if You want to start play, You need to print it. It’s never free. I made that print when v1.1 came, and now v1.5 coming and is only 2$ more expensive than my crappy print. >Accumulator keeps the game dynamic. Still only get points for achieving stuff. That`s correct. Neuroshima has found a new foundry, somewhere in UK. Old models won`t cause brain explosion, but new one? Their damn good! It is a mistake to compare old Neuroshima models to anything else. But new ones? Check Kpt. Berg. Please. As for me, infinity models are… Fine. Well detailed, but… Not as consistent with human anathomy as neuroshima ones. Huge heads, funny joints, numerous disparities… Those are not errors. Those are “infinity style”, and someone may find it good, someone find it ugly… Don`t fallow the haters. Just look at those Neuroshima minis, and tell yourselve if you… Read more »
any link to a good place to get the minis only once i’ve found so far they want $18 for em
@wildcardtbc: Here’s a shop from Germany but from what I know they ship europe-wide for about 10-15 EUR.

Hi guys, You can check out all the NST minis here: http://www.portalpublishing.eu/products/neuroshima-tactics/ Take a look and judge the miniatures for yourself. Generally I respect other people’s right to express opinions and I agree that some of the models from the first print could be a lot better (we didn’t have much luck with the first company who was responsible for casting our minis, now we have a new, professional one and it’s a lot better) but saying that they are ugly as hell is pure hating, nothing more. Just take a look at the photos and make your own opinion… Read more »
I hate those miniatures because they are ugly:) But that’s only my opinion.
And about plagiarism – I would feel ashamed to release rules so similar to another game. That’s all.
Just saw those guys at the Essen Spiel convention last weekend. The miniatures and even paint jobs look much better in person than they do on those pictures, they just don’t do them justice.
can anyone send me link to pdf of rulebook polish or english?
