Yeah, they could have give a better insight about the sectorials. Ok, here are my two cents Hassassin Barham: Background wise they are the intelligence service of Haqqislam, game wise an elite army. It has less options compared to other sectorials but they are lethal. The bulk of the army is formed up by the Hassassin cult units (leet units very well equipped and amazing) which are backed up by collaborators (sacrificable cannon fodder, cheap but irregular) and the troops of the personal guard of the Sha in supervision of the cult activities (the Sha is a politic figure, while… Read more »
Like the look of this faction, and the fluff is very interesting .
However the tactical aspect is probably not my forte!
The “…if you know what you are doing…” bit is a put off! lol
The models are cool and maybe at some point, as they could double as a Necro gang.
Infinity has a deep tactical depth, and that is indeed its charm, you cannot go all guns blazing and expect to win, on the other hand you are rewarded fro thinking tactically and orchestrating sound tactical decisions.
There’s tactics and then there’s tactics. I wouldn’t say Haqqislam are anymore difficult to use than any other faction actually. Each faction has its foibles and I’d say that its more a case of finding the faction that suits your natural style of play. I like being sneaky and aggresive so the JSA are my natural home, although I do have an Aleph and a Haqq force.
My buddy plays Haqs. Never ever laugh at a Naffatun! Or you’ll get a flamer in the face. They cost less and have same stat lines as Ghulam. Ghulam have a Rifle/Shotgun but Naffatun have Rifle/Heavy Flame thrower! They also have Total AVA!
Haqqislam has a great background, quite inspired and a great deviation of how Islam inspired themes and troops are depicted in almost every other game out there, drawn from the golden age of Islam were trade, science and philosophy were abundant, Haqqislam provides a refreshing wind in the old fundamental stereotype that is dominant today.
That’s because they’re not really a religious army. Its just that the individuals within the army have a particular religion. The Haqqislam fluff is some of the best fluff for any faction, not only within Infinity, but in any game system. Playing with them and learning how best to use them is really rewarding. I love ’em.
Shorter than the other faction videos… But still nice !

“He who controls the silk, controls the universe!”
lol couldn’t resist
A religious faction that ISN’T an army of frothing fanatics?!?!
I’m so confused…
