Get Gunning in a Dreamforge Eisenkern APC
May 23, 2013 by dracs
Dreamforge have put up a whole bunch of previews for their new heavily armed troop transport, the Eisenkern APC.
This is the perfect transport vehicle for your troops. It is heavily armoured, looks fairly mobile and, as these pictures show, has plenty of room for your soldiers.
It also comes with a "Scorpion" weapons system, giving you a 360° field of fire.
Although it looks like there could be a few problems with it.
Is this the transport for your troops?
looks like its going to be huge! which is great ,since it’ll actually be the right size 😀
Looks nice, has that retro German Halftrack / M3 carrier look going on. Im also a fan of the fact it looks to be accurately scaled, very nice indeed.
Wow, a APC that looks like it can actually fit the models its supposed to carry.
Now that is looking sweet man.
Now this one is really sweet. Just hope the proportions will be proper. Nice to see how this Eisenkern stuff can easily replace GW stuff, while looking much cooler than those crappy Imperial guardlings by GW. I see hard times coming on GW: Avatars of War offers a already pretty complete and superior looking Dwarf replacement and sweet Chaos stuff. Mantic takes the Blood Bowl audience and eats into 40k and Fantasy stuff. And all these companies befriend and embrace the ever growing online communities and networks while GW bombards us with crappy trailers and sneak peaks, alienates and destroys… Read more »
Amen brother!
Cool, looks like a modern version of the WW2 German SkZ 251 half-track.
Dreamforge are certainly setting the standard lately. I also agree with @yoshi people will use these models in their 40K games, with the lack of in store gaming there’s not a lot to stop you these days.
A bit of competition never hurt anyone
I didn’t expect this! This is a model I could do with a few. I could see this as a model that could be a posable reality. Even though its a sci-fi APC it still has a feel of realism.
Now if we could just get GW to make a Rhino, Stormraven and Land Raider sized to carry their maximum capacity… They are all hilariously undersized.
Ugh, imagine how much they would cost though…
£35 Rhinos anyone?
This dude rocks! Can’t wait for it to be released.
Yay Rollercoaster style harnesses.
Wonder if the all put their arms in the air
oh, that would look like surrendering so maybe not.
*screams like a little girls and sicks up the hot dogs and candy floss*
Also like the fact that it doesn’t need to be TARDIS to fit all the troops in and it looks cool too
