Grim Barbarians and Sci-Fi Generals from Hasslefree

Some more models have made their way onto the Hasslefree Miniatures store front. Check out a few of the releases below and try and think up where you could use them in your games.
The top Naval officers reminds me of the characters from Battlestar Galactica, could make good Imperial Guard commanders? As for Wolf the Barbarian, a Conan look-a-like contest beckons and maybe a role-playing dungeon?
Liking these newer releases?
Indeed those two naval officers look like they jumped out of BSG. Thats one beefy looking barbarian.
Colonel Hogan? More like Colonel Tigh-ny…
Also one of Wolf’s ladies (given that he’s a Wolf, shouldn’t that be his bitc…) is reaching for something at the top of his leg – priceless. I like these, plenty of personality as ever from Hasslefree.
In the show, Michael Hogan plays Colonel Tigh, and Edward James Olmos plays Adama.
Just so you know, the mini wasn’t named after Hogan’s Heroes…
BoW Romain
I knew, but I do love me some bad punnage… 😉
The beefy barbarian reminds me of a Conan poster of old. The one with the lady clinging to his leg.

Not unless they are back using Space Dwarves in Imp Guard , there Grymns , hasslefrees excellent sci fi dwarf range…..although I would personally use these more in warpath for Forgefathers , much nicer range.
The barbarian (Thrudd IMO) is excellent; fantastic sculpting has gone in there. col Tigh is good too; an older character carrying the burden of war but as tough as they come. However, Adama is horrendously proportioned – that is one huge noggin!
He’s not horrendously proportioned the Grymn are Hasslefree’s space dwarfs.
It only just occurred to me but I might have to buy an Admiral Olmos and paint him up as Miles Vorkosigan/Admiral Naismith…
