Gothic Jetbike Concepts From Maxmini
November 9, 2011 by brennon
Maxmini already have some great scenery and gaming accessory pieces to their name, but we found a new concept for a Gothic Jetbike which you can see below.
Pretty good looking at this concept and render stage, and should look even better once its realised in resin. The jetbike is designed to be easy to put together and easy to convert for whatever game might take your fancy.
Myself, I was thinking it would look great at the head of a Dark Angel Ravenwing army or even something of the Steampunk variety?
What games would you guys use this for?

I want some and I want them now.
I hope the guns are removable and there’s a fairing that goes in their place so it can be more civilian.
Seconded. That way it will be useful for objective games where my Space Marines have to go to pick up their girlfriends for a night out, or stop off at the shop on the way home to pick up some milk.
I was thinking more in place of a horse for a steam-punk cowboy…
It reminds me of the movie Priest that had bikes like this.
The styling is more ‘hotrod’ than ‘chunky warbike’. Could be good for a Doomrider conversion with the right bits.
That looks awesome. The underside slightly resembles a steam iron in the reflection there though… I wish I hadn’t seen that.
Do my eyes deceive me or do GW only produce one imperial jetbike these days, and that a character model in finecast for £30? Are there even rules in 40K for troops on jetbikes? If that Dark Angel has the last one in the galaxy he must be crazy popular. Anyway, I’d be happy to stick some assorted spikes and a Chaos Space Marine biker on this beast.
Sammael has the last true jet bike, but if you want a fluff reason for your jet bike marines that’s not to say hover bikes aren’t possible, only they’re quite temperamental over uneven ground and don’t go very high, and so count as regular bikes in game, or for imperial guard, they require a concentrated effort to engage the boosters for high speed since there’s no power armour and auto-sense interface possible but with full boost are very effective on the charge and thus count as cavalry.
Nice, thanks. I suppose, rules-wise, GW have to throw the Eldar some kind of a bone, giving other armies jet bikes as well as all the good armour and guns would be kind of harsh.
Front of this reminds me about Imperial ships from BFG. Those had similar front.
these would be amazing for a pre heresy army. counts as… bikes.
Gorgeous jet bike design.
I can see high demand for this model.
These are going to fly off the production line.
Not literally.
oooh I want 6 😀 for dark plans and my Pre Heresy Army…. any one know the release date on these ? (ie can I wait ?? )
ok i want 3 of them for my Red Scorpions, hurrry up and make them
