Wow, that board looks so cool. Lots of extra bits and bobs around the table though. I’m really hoping that this game will be accessible to casual gamers, as I know plenty of FireFly fans i reckon I’ll be able to introduce to gaming with this. Cool idea to provide a solo play option. I wonder what the upper limit of players is…?
Excellent interview Wildchevy!
The initial set-up looks daunting but one it is set-up, it flows fairly well… after a few turns, players get the hang of the method of play…. The components of the game are excellent the “money” in the set is thick, well printed and colourful… many very positive comments about it were noted……
GTM (Game Trade Magazine) issue 162 August includes an additional Firefly gamepiece… the “Artful Dodger”; this will allow a fifth player…..
Darn it, I really didn’t want to like this game, but I’m warming up to it.
They sold like half-price hotcakes at breakfast time….
awesome! the guy looks very promising cant wait to get mine
A long time ago, when I was but a nipper, I had a board game called SPIVS (look it up). I think this will be a bit like that. But 10 thousand times more awesome as its Firefly. Now if I can just get them to do a deluxe edition with a free Kaylee in it…
Getting excited…..
I do like games that are able to be soloed and loved the Firefly tv series. The number of components and the manufacturer producing it help convince me of it’s quality. Co-op games can be troublesome if a player wishes to screw you over but I still think this is worth adding to the collection.
