Games Workshop Bring Together The Forces Of The Inquisition
October 30, 2013 by brennon
Games Workshop Digital Editions have got another codex in the works. This time around The Inquisition are getting their time to shine with a digital release allowing you to combine the witch hunting forces of the Emperor into one powerful force.
So far we don't have many details past this rather snazzy looking cover but I remember I picked up this model the art is based on and I still have him somewhere.
This isn't going to be replacing any existing codices like Grey Knights but it will allow you to add Inquisitors into your Imperial Guard army for example without having to ally with Grey Knights and bring those hulking warriors onto the battlefield. You can therefore tailor the force to fit with a particular Inquisitorial theme.
It will be interesting to see what exactly this codex will offer even if it is another digital release. I would have liked to see some of these digital releases being presented in soft cover mini-dex form actually. They would be around the size of the mini-rulebooks and then wouldn't be such a pain to get a hold of and bring along with you.
Will you be joining the Inquisition?

Almost too excited …
So I’m guessing this is going to be a IG supplement? Or is this one of the faballed “mini_dexes”?
Well it’s produced by the Digital Editions team at Games Workshop so I assume it’s going to be much like the Sisters of Battle…sorry ASs ‘dex.
BoW Ben
from the rumours i’ve heard it’s designed to be an allied force to another imperial army, not a full army in it’s own right. it could, however, be played on it’s own but there will be a lack of units to support the allies idea the designers want it to go.
that is just a rumour though.
I love the inquisition cause I can add a random theme mini to the army as a retinue member for the inquisitor. From zulu warrior to futuristic soldier; everybody can be an agent used to track the heretic and the unclean.
Well… I must say I really can’t wait to see this awesome looking codex!
I like the idea of GW getting into Ebooks but £15 to £30 is alot for a ebook i got my hands on 10 D&D rule ebooks 1Yr and a bit go for £6 and thets for 10 ebooks Interactives ones too maps moives on the lore.
