Don’t Forget! Day Of The Doctor Episode 7:50pm Tonight!
November 23, 2013 by brennon
The Day of the Doctor is upon us, as if you hadn't guessed from the amount of peddling the BBC has done over the past few weeks, and tonight at 7:50pm on BBC One (for us Brits) you'll be able to catch the latest episode of Doctor Who.
It all looks like it's going to be a pretty spectacular episode but I have to say the hype machine has somewhat worn me down a bit now. It's been great checking out all the stuff running up to it but I do hope that they haven't built this up far too much and it's just going to feel like a normal episode of Doctor Who.
But, enough of me being cynical! It's going to be fun seeing David Tennant back as The Doctor and I think that John Hurt should give a good performance as The War Doctor and pave the way for Peter Capaldi in future episodes.
So will you be watching?
This is one of those times I wished I had TV.

Gorillavid, Putlocker, Sockshare, and Clicktoview are the best links.
No it’s not. I already said it’s on at bloody ten to seven on a Sunday morning. Who get’s up at that time of day!!!!!!
Weird thing is I wrote that with Matt Smiths voice in my head reading it to me 🙁
I will be watching!!! Tennant, Smith and Hurt – its gonna be great!!!
It’s going to be a classic, not long now.
Gallifrey falls no more!!!
But the entire premise was not that Gallifrey was falling but that the Timelords and much of Gallifrey had GONE INSANE and had to be destroyed, just as much as the Daleks. Remember when the Time Lords voted, apart from two, to destroy all of time to ascend to a higher plane of existence!? That’s how bad they were…
Just think about it for ten seconds! If Gallifrey was falling then PROBLEM SOLVED. Daleks just need to be sorted out.
I really enjoyed that 🙂 An emotional, intelligent script allied with humour and some bloody great effects. Perfect.
And a glimpse of Doctor Malcolm Tucker 🙂
THAT
WAS
FECKIN
BRILLIANT!
Hats/fezzes off to the BBC and Doctor Who for putting on a fantastic show.
My word that was great…
Best Episode Ever!
Definitely has a little “SQUEEEE!” moment when Tom turned up. A really nice story.
Well well well…
I didn’t get to see it last night, (we have a baby running a temperature and a tired mummy) so I got it on iPlayer this morning.
Loved it.
John Hurt … wow
Even that old plonker Tom Baker managed to redeem himself 😉
But…
The BBC will never have this budget again to spend, so we’re probably going to be back to the wobbly rubber suits before too long. 😉
The BBC can find budget money for over the top payoffs to executives so not sure that there is no money. Just no money to actually make good programs.
Funny that, considering pretty much all of my favourite British TV programme of the last few years have been made by the BBC.
Loved Doctor Who last night. Can’t wait to see what Peter Capaldi does with it.
Just watched it. I’m not a fan of recent Doctor Who but that was superb. Roll on the Malcolm Tucker era!
If the BBC didn’t own Dr Who it would have a bigger budget and better writing.. possibly.
I loved this episode but the more I thought about it the less it made sense, and the more idiotic the entire episode got.
And it ruined what might have been the best MOMENT in tv history for a pathetic Deus Ex Machina ending, which didn’t make any sense on all levels.
Really enjoyed the episode. The icing on the cake was the appearance of Tom Baker, love that old bloke.
