Mash an Ork & R2-D2 together & you get… Aaargh2D2
October 10, 2011 by dracs
Scibor Monstrous Miniatures is celebrating Halloween with this very cool mini Aaargh2D2 that looks like the love child of a randy Ork and R2-D2!
There’s not much detail on it other than it’s a resin miniature that comes with a cool 40mm scenic base.
Also Scibor have two other new miniatures for you to spend your hard earned cash on. With fantasy collectors receiving the Ogre Slaughterer and sci-fi fans getting a Chaos Warrior, you are sure to find something to your liking.
So guys what do you think of these latest offerings from Scibor? Will you be including them in your armies? And most importantly, what manner of creature do you think C3P0 might be?

Now that’s pretty awesome!
taking on george lucas?? hmmm, GW is a mere puppy compared to the beardie one
nice models, very smart the aargh2d2, it is only the paintjob that made it a r2d2, the model is more a oil drum, so no lawsuits there.
if i played 40k i would get the r2d2, but i only play warh fantasy en dystopian wars.
I agree but when has sense ever stood up to rabid IP lawyers 😉
It’s being marketed with an R2D2 monicker, in name and sales photo, so it may still breach Copyright.
This is why Orks dont let fellow Orks drink alone.
Talk about having huge balls. Beardy One might take this wrong way and then no one exept his lawyers have fun anymore.
charming.
Pretty funny. All we need now is an ogre vader, an elf obi wan and yoda as a goblin … 😉
Argh2d2 is hilarious, its probably covered as a parody, but still I can think of at least 5 people who’s lawyers I’d rather speak to about IP infringement than lucasarts. The Ogre is pretty good, and the chaos warior is awesome until you see that gun which looked horrible on the Celtic scifi stuff only now its got a skull on it.
now this is just awesome.
