Get Exploring the Space Hulk as the Video Game Draws Ever Closer
March 1, 2013 by dracs
PC gaming news site Rock Paper Shotgun have had an exclusive interview with Thomas Hentschel Lund, boss of Full Control, the company which is currently making the Space Hulk video game.
The game aims to be a faithful adaptation of the ever popular turn based board game, and Full Control will be attempting to emphasise the claustrophobic play setting as well as drawing elements from the recent turn based game XCOM.
In the interview, Thomas Lund says of the game; "We don’t want to go in and change a really cool, well-balanced, well-played game, and we’re not going to dumb it down so it turns into a shooter. Our vision is that we essentially want to keep the claustrophobic atmosphere, you’re up against millions of Genestealers potentially, you’re the underdog. You’re going to lose this game three out of four times, just as in the boardgame." - Rock Paper Shotgun
Certainly sounds promising.
If you want to find out more about the Space Hulk game be sure to check out the interview, along with it's exclusive still shots, over at Rock Paper Shotgun. And remember to tell us what you think in our comments section too.
