Errants, Zealots+ua for infantry spam to jam up lanes, hold objectives etc

Reckoner highly rated heavy
Vanquisher, Crusader are excellent…3in1 is cool (also gives templar, use magnets people)
I know I said the same in the khador vid, but if you get yourself another heavy jack before you assemble the contents of the battlebox, a few character jack upgrades and a butt load of magnets you can have an aweful lot of variety
I have yet to play Warmachine, I have Hordes. Good to know if I choose to cross over into them.

I’ve gone for exemplar Bastions and Idrian skirmishers to take me to 35 a much like the Khador choices its cos I like the models rather than have any idea what they actually do in game. I think for expanding first I’ll be after a couple units of the choir in place of the Idrians then drop one of the exemplar units to take some discounted Vengers in Kreoss’ theme list, Then I’ll look at what I need to take the whole lot to 50/75 etc points before building a list for a second caster.
Will you be going through all the Warmachine factions? It would be great if you could keep this series going on to Retribution, Cygnar, even into the Magnus and other mercenaries. Plus, Hordes seems destined to have their own battlebox? Any news on this?
Im hoping for circle vs skorne or legion myself. id be happy with skorne vs legion as well
This is a great video for expanding into an epic kreoss list, but remember this is not the only way you can go from the starter.
Also, I know Andy hasn’t gotten on board with the vassal of menoth yet, but I wholeheartedly endorse a vassal over a second choir in a list like this.
here is the requirements to get if you want to expand menoth from either box set. 1. choir of menoth. 2. the covenant. 3. heirophant. 4.reckoner. i believe that if you dont get these right after your starter set, you fail as a menoth player. these guys are a must get for any menoth player because what they can do for your army is to absurdly good to pass up. i gurantee you that these 4 guys are worth their weight in gold. what you take after them is your choice. i would highly recomend after getting those, a new… Read more »
I think its safe to say the first thing to buy would be 2 units of the choir. you are going to pretty much use these in most, if not all forces so they will be a sound investment. plus that would take you up to your 25. I know alot of people are saying ‘get the starter, remove this, remove that’ but with 2 min choir you have a very viable starting force
