Espion Stealth Gears & Beastriders… New for Heavy Gear!
February 15, 2012 by beerogre
Just because their 15ft. combat machines doesn't mean they can't be sneaky... well... with the right equipment anyway.
Check out the new Espion Stealth Gears... brand new for Heavy Gear!
These covert wonders are available soon...
However, if big fighting robots aren't your thing... then why not have some Armadillo Beasts!
These NuCoal monsters are out now... those gears better watch out... the Armadillo Beast is fast, powerful and ornery enough to scrap one with ease!
I’ve never played Heavy Gear but i do play 40K and that Beast rider has got me thinking Exodite Dragon riders for my Eldar
What I really like about those gears.. besides the angular frame.. are the weapons. The ACs have always had a very particular look and honestly one I don’t care for. Even the rifles look a bit weedy, with only the HRF looking like something a gear should be packing. But the Autocannon and Frag Cannon on display in those photos look nice and chunky. I hope DP9 do a NuCoal weapons pack as they have done for the North and South..
The angles look like they definitely took inspiration from the F117 to make these – very cool.
Nailed it! 😀
I love the look of everything though Ill just get those stealth gears no sand riders for me.
What scale are these models?
1:144 or a loose 12-15mm
Depending on scale the suits look quite Tau like and it’s a +1 on the Exodite idea from huscarle from me 🙂
Those Stealth Gears are very nice.
Armadillo…why do I fancy a dime bar??
like the beastie, not sure about the knight dude on top. Some fun figs, look better than some mechs I could buy
Bad ass! I agree about the Stealth Fighter angle inspired chassis. Bought!
1/144 scale or around 12 to 13mm scale for terrain N-scale
Heavy Gear Blitz! minis are all really quite nice and these are just another example of the cool stuff from DP9.
They do have a very Spec Ops feel about them. Really nice, guys.
