Escape Taban’s Eden in a New Board Game
May 13, 2013 by dracs
Taban have just made the exciting announcement that a new board game set in their world of Eden is in the works! Get ready to Escape!
The board game will contain new plastic miniatures and characters as well as a whole new way to experience the cool setting of Eden and entice in new players.
Escape should be heading to crowd funding on kickstarter on May 20th, so hopefully we will get a better idea of just what this game will be like and what we can expect to see from it then.
Escape was apparently first released in magazine format in 2011. Did any of you play it then? What changes do you hope to see?

This is something I want to get my hands on. The models from Taban are great and I like that they have an African war band in the game as not many games ever bother with that continent.
There are many African communities in France that are quite healthy and “mainstream”, from long standing immigration from our former colonies. My father was born in Algeria, actually, and I had a pal from Cameroun when I was in Uni. So people are more in contact with those cultures and know about them. It really gives an original horizon to creation ! 🙂
I’ve always have a love of native cultures and games that add them I almost always get.
I like the background so a game in a box solution is something i would pick up. Just hope it’s priced smartly.
I’m interested but disappointed that the ISC miniatures are ones I already own. I’m significantly less likely to buy as a result.
I think everyone should play Eden at least once ;0)
I just backed this awesome game! I hope you all join the fun 🙂
