Ecclesiarchy And Inquisition Made To Order
November 18, 2019 by avernos
From this coming weekend, 23rd November, for one week only a host of Imperium miniatures will be available through Games Workshop's made to order feature. In the run up to the release of the Sister of Battle both Ecclesiarchy and Inquisitorial figures will have their moulds dusted off to once again be spun up and deposit their hot metal miniatures on your table.
Like Arch-Confessor Kyrinov these older sculpts still hold up beautifully, and thankfully the SoB didn't receive a complete re-design, so he should be able to step in without looking out of place. Although we have yet to see if he has a place to step into. Apart from the priesthood the Inquisition are also getting some old miniatures dusted off.
Four Inquisitors, three female and one male, are available once more and these minis are beautiful and with the accents like the fleur dis lis they look exactly like they belong there, what probably doesn't belong mind you are the demonhosts, forcibly bound and unleashed on the enemy they will not survive for long. For if not eventually killed by the enemy then they will surely be cleansed by the Adeptus Sororitas.
Never fear though, four of the original eight assassin models are also stealthily working their way back onto boards and if needs be they can remove the impediments to your success, sometimes from a long long way away.
It's fantastic to see these miniatures available once more, the only tragedy is they will only be available for a short period, but with Inquisition rules appearing in this month's White Dwarf I can see a lot of people picking these miniatures up.
Will you be adding these to the holy trinity of bolter, melta and flame?

Some beautiful models coming back, even if it is for a short time.
Minis very much of their time, but still dashed nice. Is that a texture on the Bishop fella’s frock, or does some Eavy Metal painter really need a pay rise?
I have him and no there is no texture that’s painted on. Also that’s not a heavy metal painter the studio paint job didn’t have that on it. It was years later before we saw that.
It’s incredible work. I’m guessing the trim at the bottom, the text is all freehand too.

What’s worse than the inquisition a 40K inquisition!?! Lol
Great figures.
