Drop In and See the Dropzone Commander Cover Art
July 19, 2012 by dracs
The rulebook for Dropzone Commander is well on the way and to keep you guys going until it can make it's appearance Hawk Wargames have published the book's cover art. Gotta say, it is looking pretty sweet.
The artwork here shows off the great Dropzone Commander miniatures in a really dramatic way that captures the how the game will play out. It's definitely got me looking forward to when we can get a copy of the rules here in the office. Dropzone Commander's miniatures are a real favourite here in the office and I am looking forward to seeing how they play out.
Any of you wanting to get into this game? What are your thoughts on the cover art?

Yes and yes. I have a terrible passion for rules.
Sam: Did you mean to type the same thing almost twice?
I think it really conveys the stomach-lurching, gut-wrenching feel a soldier might have seconds before hitting the dropzone. The dropship is rattling your teeth avoiding incoming fire from the ground and you don’t really know if you want it to land, because boy, there’s a slaughterhouse awaitin’ ya …
man Ive just been over to their page …this stuff is awesome, totally fresh looking designs and crisp sculpts for a 10mm scale ! top notch .
That cover looks really good. Looking forward to my copy.
This is really shaping up. Looking forward to BoW doing some coverage of this game.
Looks really good. I really wish GW would resurrect Epic 40k in a new 15mm FoW scale…so many pretty tanks to roll around with *sighs* but back to topic. Dropzone Commander looks crisp and nice. Their units look believable and streamlined for war. I do like the stuff. The Price Tag on the other hand =/ makes me wonder if i should get into it or not. But first and foremost im interested in the rules. I still can decide later on to buy or not to buy some minis for it.
