DreamForge’s Eisenkern Gets a New Paint Job
March 5, 2012 by dracs
DreamForge Games have published some pictures of one of their Eisenkern Sturmtruppen with a spiffy new paint job. Take a look.
This is a nice, effective paint scheme which really suits the industrial sci-fi trooper appearence, so hats off to David Woods at Dwartist's Painting Blog.
What are your thoughts on this? How would you have painted the mini?
Simple and understated – very apt for a ‘working military’ feel. I still want to see one painted gloss white though…the helmet suits that I feel. 😉
Over all, I like the look of the model. The backpack is cool and the gun is big. I see no down side to the models.
and the gun is the most fun to shot with 😀 had the pleasure of doing so during my time in the army !
the sound is the best about it ^^ :

and yeah I know that gun on the mini isnt an exact copy of an MG42 or MG3 still I guess its supposed to look alike so I think it would feel and sound alike ^^
Awesome sculpt. Very much like those troopers from anime movie Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade.
The Sturmtruppen and Kriegsmarine are now available for order (10% off preorder sale)
